The Applied Psychology Program for Eating and Appearance Research (APPEAR) examines body image and body change behaviors through a critical postmodern socio-ecological feminist lens. Our work adopts a weight neutral lens and aims to create and test explanatory models as well as interventions, and to inform policy and practice. We are an inclusive team, across levels of experience and seniority, and always welcome new members.
